Makatussin comp syrup 10 mg/5 ml is an opioid pain medication. A narcotic can also be used to describe an opioid. Pain that is mild to moderate can be treated with Makatussi. There are additional uses for Makatussi that are not covered in the Makatussi guide.

Makatusin syrup is used to treat mild types of Parkinson’s disease, alleviate motion sickness, induce sleep, and suppress cough. Sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, hives, rashes, itching, and other cold and allergy symptoms are also treated with Makatussin Comp. There are additional uses for Makatussin Comp. besides those that are specified in this medication

How To Buy Makatussin Comp Without Prescription

As a sleep aid, Makatussin Comp. be taken about 30 minutes before bedtime. Take each dose with a full glass of water. Makatussin Comp. can be taken with or without food. For motion sickness, a dose is usually taken 30 minutes before exercise and then with meals and at bedtime for the duration of exposure.

Maka syrup

To ensure you get the correct dose, measure the liquid forms of maka syrup Comp. with a special measuring spoon or measuring cup, not a regular tablespoon. If you do not have a meter, ask your pharmacist where you can get one. Never take more of this medication than prescribed. The maximum amount of Makatussin Comp. that you should take in a 24-hour period is 300 mg.

Important information about opioids such as Makatussin Comp cough syrup:

Dependence and abuse : Repeated administration of opioids such as Makatussin Comp. cough syrup may result in tolerance, physical and/or psychological dependence and abuse.

Breathing problems : When using Makatussin Comp. cough syrup, breathing may become alarmingly slow or short, and blood pressure may eventually drop. If this happens, contact your doctor.

Concomitant use with alcohol or other medications : Concomitant use of Makatussin Comp. cough syrup with alcohol or medications that may cause drowsiness increases the risk of developing dangerous side effects, which may be fatal.

Inadvertent use : Accidental use of Makatussin Comp. cough syrup, especially in children, can lead to a fatal overdose.

Pregnancy : Prolonged use of opioids during pregnancy may trigger withdrawal symptoms in the newborn, which can be life-threatening if not recognized and treated. (Makatussin Comp. cough syrup cannot be used during pregnancy, see section “When should Makatussin Comp. cough syrup not be taken/used?”).
